Overview
HONDA! VTEC! BWAAAAAAAAHHHH!! It’s K-Swap time E30 friends! We are proud to introduce our Honda K24 swap motor mounts for the BMW E30 chassis. Our billet motor mounts position the spicy high-revving Honda K-Series as low and close to the cabin firewall as possible in the E30 engine bay to create the best weight distribution possible. This low and rearward set engine position allows us to reap all the handling benefits associated with shedding weight over the front end and lowering the center of mass. This design is a similar recipe to what was used at BMW at the time of developing the S14-powered E30 M3. The engineers not only produced a powerful high-revving engine but ensured that the car’s weight and handling characteristics were never compromised. As seen in the M3 race cars, the lightweight nature of a high-revving 4-cylinder paired with a rearward engine position gives a serious edge over the competition, turning a refined driving machine into a precision track weapon.
Compatibility
Our mount arms are compatible with a lot of other components already on the market and can be used as an upgrade to any existing kits. Our motor position is the lowest and furthest back in the market and allows the use of the OEM E30 transmission brace (part number 23711176574) with a BMW getrag or ZF 5-speed transmission. Compatible with most popular aftermarket RWD K swap oil pans and air intakes. As far as intakes go, there are some RWD solutions out there, however, we found that the best way to solve this without relocating half of the belt-driven accessories in the front is to do an individual throttle body conversion as we did on our K car. Our swap mounts work with our 24V swap engine bushings which can be purchased separately here. Our 80A and 95A poly provide a more direct and engaging driving feel by connecting the drivetrain more directly to the chassis while keeping the vibration compliant enough for street driving. We recommend choosing 80A for cars that see more street driving and 95A for cars that spend more time doing hot laps on the race track. An ideal upgrade to factory rubber bushings, our polyurethane bushings are chemically resistant and will not degrade over time. Like all Garagistic bushings, the E30 K24 swap engine bushings are covered by our lifetime warranty.

Does Not Fit: E30 IX Models
This is due to the E30 IX front subframes having a different mounting geometry than standard RWD E30 front subframes.
Please Note: Engine Compatibility
Compatible: Designed for use with MOST Honda K-Series Motors (Compatible engines: JDM K24A, USDM K24A2, K24A3, K24A4, K24A8, and K20Z3.
Not Compatible: Our motor mounts are NOT Compatible with the following engines: K20A2, K20Z1, or K24A1 blocks
Note: Please makes sure you purchase the correct motor before starting your build!
Recommended: We recommend the K24A2 from the 2004-2008 Acura TSX, or any JDM K24A engine with RBB cylinder head
