Inspired by the part used by BMW in their DTM e30 M3 race cars, the Garagistic E30 Carbon Gas tank cover is made from 2×2 3k Twill Carbon Fiber. This is the fuel pump inspection panel that is under the rear seats in an e30. This part is a full carbon construction (not just the face)! Incredibly light and strong. Wall thickness of 0.9mm! Comes in Matte clear (UV resistant!). Fits most 83-92 E30s. Replaces discontinued part number 51711884758. 
IMPORTANT: Most racing sanctions require a metal barrier between gas tank and cabin. So if you are running this in your spec e30 or race car with the gas tank in stock location, this should be used as a cover on top of your existing metal cover. 
If you have relocated your gas tank, have a fuel cell in a different location (or running our fuel cell relocation kit), you can use the carbon cover as a replacement just as the original DTM cars did.
