Overview
Engineered for both grassroots drifters and professional motorsport drivers, the Garagistic Hydraulic E-Brake is built to deliver unmatched consistency, strength, and feedback under pressure. Whether you’re linking corners at your local drift day or hitting clipping points in Formula Drift, this e-brake is designed to put control right at your fingertips exactly where you need it, when you need it.
Designed to work with nearly any chassis and caliper setup, it’s the perfect choice for everything from grassroots builds to competition cars. Choose between a standard pull or reverse pull configuration to match your driving style and interior layout.
At the heart of this handbrake is a bearing-supported pivot system that eliminates play entirely, providing a solid, confidence-inspiring feel lap after lap. It’s purpose-built for standalone hydraulic systems, making it ideal for dual rear caliper setups commonly used in drift applications.
To make installation as flexible as possible, each unit includes a weld-on mounting plate that can be attached to any transmission tunnel for a rock-solid foundation.Give your drift car the confidence and control it deserves, with a hydro built to perform every time you yank it.
Key Features
Two Pull-Style Configurations
Standard Mount: Master cylinder sits behind the handle for a narrow profile that fits perfectly beside the shifter or along the transmission tunnel.
Reverse Mount: Master cylinder sits in front of the handle in a horizontal configuration. The low-profile base is ideal for tucking the handbrake under the dash for a stealthy setup. This setup is especially optimized for drift cars that have had their heater cores removed.
Optimized Ergonomics
Developed with feedback from grassroots and pro drivers alike, the handle shape features a highly ergonomic grip with a total height of 17 inches from the base to the top of the handle; designed for intuitive engagement and easy reach in high-stress situations. Paired with a high quality 0.75″ bore master cylinder, the handle provides the perfect combination of throw length and effort.
Solid Billet Construction
Each base is CNC-machined from a solid block of billet aluminum for maximum rigidity and minimum flex. The compact design minimizes its footprint while maximizing strength. The handles are also precisely machined from a single piece of aluminum, featuring machined pockets for lightness.
Precision Hardware and Bearings
Sealed bearings and high-tolerance shoulder bolts ensure smooth actuation and eliminate side-to-side slop, a major upgrade over common pin-and-clip hydro designs.
Type 3 Hard Anodized Finish:
We upgraded the anodizing finish to ensure the strongest durability and keep your parts looking fresh for longer. All bases come with a black hard-anodized finish. The handles are available with your choice of black, red, champagne, or titanium grey. 
Universal Compatibility:
Compatible with nearly any chassis & caliper setup… not just for BMWs! Install it in your S-chassis, Mustang, GT86 or anything else you want to slide.
Each hydro e-brake includes a mounting plate that is tapped and ready to weld onto your transmission tunnel.
Optional spacers are also provided for increased compatibility with different master cylinders. You no longer need to cut the threaded section from master cylinders, which may be too long; simply use one of the provided spacers to create the necessary gap.
BMW Chassis Specific Mounting Kits: 
Bolt-on mount kits for the E30, E36, and E46 will be available soon! These kits will reinforce the shifter mounting area and will be fully compatible with any Garagistic shifter setup, as well as being fully reversible since there is no welding required.
Standalone Design: Perfect for standalone/dual rear caliper setups, but can also be used in in-line setups.

Wilwood GS Compact Master Cylinder – Available with remote and integrated master cylinder versions, this master cylinder is commonly used by professional drifters.

Tilton 76-Series Master Cylinder – PN 76-750
These master cylinders have the smallest overall dimensions and allow the use of a banjo fitting. If you want an integrated reservoir with a Reverse pull base, this is the master to get. Purchase here!
The provided optional spacer will be required to space this master cylinder correctly, as the threaded rod is longer than the Wilwood part.
